Thaddeus Joseph Jakubowski

Thaddeus Joseph Jakubowski , usual: Thad J. Jakubowski (born April 5, 1924 in Chicago ; † July 14, 2013 ibid), was auxiliary bishop in Chicago .

Life

Thad J. Jakubowski first attended St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School and St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School in Chicago and then entered the Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary . He studied philosophy and theology at the University of Saint Mary of the Lake (Mundelein Seminary). He studied classical science at Loyola University Chicago .

The Archbishop of Chicago, Samuel Alphonsius Cardinal Stritch , ordained him on May 3, 1950 . He served in the pastoral ministry of the Archdiocese of Chicago and taught classical languages ​​at Quigley Preparatory Seminary . He was Dean of Vicariate IV (1977–1982; 1984–1988).
