It was first released on Netflix April 6, 2018 . It is based on the 2017 movie The Boss Baby , which in turn is based on the book by Marla Frazee. In Germany, the free TV premiere of this series was celebrated on January 20, 2020 on Disney Channel.

The Boss Baby takes his brother Tim to the Baby Corporation headquarters, where he tries to familiarize him with his business world; maintain babies' cute reputations and compete against dogs and cats. With his help he tries to reconcile his family life and his work.
