action
The clumsy little crook Vincent steals a painting during a break-in and sells it at a flea market for a ridiculous price. As it soon turns out, it belongs to Carlotta, the leader of the mafia in Marseille, and there is $ 250,000 hidden in the frame. Of course, she wants it back and doesn't shy away from using force. On the run from Carlotta and her henchman Marius, Vincent radically changes his appearance by cutting his long hair and beard. He is mistakenly mistaken for their colleague Claude, who is on vacation and looks astonishingly like him. With his colleague Lucie at his side, whom he quickly gets closer to, Vincent begins to work as a police officer, Claude. Just as the real Claude returns from Cuba, Vincent is exposed. Vincent and his friend Dieudonné finally bring down Carlotta and her followers in many surprising twists. Vincent also convicts the corrupt Inspector Green, for which he himself is pardoned. As a happy ending, Claude and Vincent find out from an old photo that they are twin brothers who were separated as toddlers.
