The Cop - Crime Scene Paris (original title: Jo ) is an internationally co-produced action - crime series from the French production company Atlantique Productions and Belgian production company Stromboli Pictures in cooperation with the television stations TF1 (France), RTBF (Belgium), RTS (Switzerland) ORF (Austria) and Sat.1 (Germany).
action
The series is about Jo St Clair, who has been with the Paris Homicide Squad for many years and is known for solving the toughest and most mysterious murder cases. He can think like the serial killers he is looking for and can therefore put himself in the shoes of these serial killers particularly well. That's why he's brilliant and terrifying. Together with his partner Marc Bayard, he is now facing another particularly complicated case. A number of murders happened in Paris, always in one of the most famous locations in the city. Corpses are found at the Eiffel Tower, in front of the Notre-Dame and in the catacombs. Jo and Bayard must find the killer before all the sights in Paris become a crime scene. At the same time, Jo is tormented by private problems. He wants to tie up with his daughter Adèle, for which he needs the help of the nun Karyn.
occupation
- Jean Reno (voice actor: Joachim Kerzel ): Joachim “Jo” Saint-Clair is the son of a prostitute, which is why he was given the name of the street where he was born: Saint-Clair. Now he is trying to restart with his daughter Adèle.
- Jill Hennessy (voice actress: Anke Reitzenstein ): Sister Karyn is an unorthodox nun who doesn't even wear the traditional garb of one. She is Jo's confidante and friend. She runs a refugee home for prostitutes and was like a mother to Adèle.
- Tom Austen (voice actor: Tobias Nath ): Marc Bayard is a determined and enthusiastic young police officer who quickly made it into the high ranks of the police. He's been working with Jo for two years now and has a kind of father-son relationship with him.
