action

Rodeo star John Scott and his friend, the player Kansas Charlie, are on their way to Rattlesnake Gulch by carriage. Kansas Charly promises John to forego any more women’s stories that both have troubled in the past. On the way, Juanita Montero gets into the carriage with them and goes with them for a while. Arrived in Rattlesnake Gulch, John takes part in the rodeo, while Charlie wants to devote himself to the card game. He learns that the rodeo organizers only plan to pay out a quarter of the amount awarded. With this information, Charlie goes to John, who then immediately demands his money, $ 900, from the organizer, who after some hesitation gets the money from the safe. Shortly after leaving the office, it is ambushed, with one of the perpetrators, Pete, John Scott and Kansas Charlie being accused of the attack. Without knowing about it, John and Charlie want to see Juanita. Charlie is caught by the sheriff, but freed by John. John then visits Juanita, who is friends with Pete, without knowing about his attack. When John visits her, she hides Pete, who is just present, in the closet. While they are kissing, Charlie also appears, who starts a fight out of jealousy. When they both come to an agreement again, Pete comes out of the closet, takes the money from John and locks them both in the closet. Then he announces the friendship with Juanita and tells her that he wants to disappear to Poker City. John and Charlie escape the closet and pursue Pete. On the way they separate and meet again, each under a different name, in Anne's shop. Anne is the sister of Pete's buddies Jim and knows Charlie as the Reverend. Later, while riding, they witness Pete and Jim ambush a carriage. As the perpetrators flee, John drives the carriage into town. Charlie takes up the chase and has Jim hand over the loot, while Pete manages to escape back to Poker City. When John shows up in the carriage, Pete accuses him and Charlie of robbing Rattlesnake Gulch. The sheriff locks up the two innocents. However, they escape to Anne's shop, where they defend themselves against the sheriff and his helpers with weapons. At the same time, Pete robbed the local bank after he broke up with Jim because Jim no longer wanted to participate. While John and Charly are chasing Pete, but are being chased by the sheriff, Jim, who was shot by Pete, confesses his actions to Anne. This starts moving to inform the sheriff. The sheriff arrests Pete, who was knocked unconscious by John. John wants to marry Anne and Charlie announces that he wants to find Juanita.
