action
Reshma walks to Chennai the day before their marriage . She is described as unattractive and useless by the casting director when she applied for a role in a film. She has decided to convince him and takes on a role as a side dancer. She builds erotic movements into her dance, much in spite of the director Abraham. He removes Reshma's entire dance performance from the film. The film fails at the box office, which takes producer Selva Ganesh away. He then made Reshma an offer to dance in his upcoming film and recommended that she call herself "Silk". On the first day of shooting, Silk dances with Suryakanth, her childhood idol. Silk seduces him with the offer of a long-term sexual relationship. Meanwhile, Abraham proposes a new film, Selva Ganesh, and is very interested in casting Suryakanth. However, Suryakanth's suggestion to add spice and sex to make the movie more appealing to viewers annoys Abraham. Silk makes other erotic and sensual films with Suryakanth. She gains many followers of the male sex and within a short span of time she becomes rich and popular as a South Indian sex star.
Ramakanth, Suryakanth's younger brother, is an admirer of Silk and tries to help her. Silk is happy that someone eventually likes her for who she is, and not just desires her body.
At an awards ceremony, Silk is praised for her performance, but is also insulted by Suryakanth, who tells her that she is nothing but everyone's "dirty secret". Silk announces that she will continue to take her "dirty pictures". She spends more time with Ramakanth and her affair with him, which journalist Naila Silk criticizes for dating both brothers. Suryakanth is kicking Silk out of his upcoming films. Out of necessity she works with insignificant filmmakers. She loses interest in her work and feels threatened by a younger actress, Shakeela. During a dance challenge, she deliberately pushes Shakeela, causing Ramakanth to break up with her. After being betrayed twice and rejected by her own mother, she turns to alcohol and becomes a chain smoker. It is increasing and directors are losing interest in it.
Silk makes Silva Ganesh an offer to produce a film together. Ultimately, viewers lost interest in her. She is losing her wealth and fame. Abraham is directing a film that is proving to be a huge hit. In this way he proves that his films do not need a sexual essence to be successful. Silk owes so much that she works with a little filmmaker. She is shocked to find out that he wants to make a porn movie. He numbs her with a drink and starts filming. During the shoot, the place is raided by the police, but Silk manages to escape in time. Despite this, Abrahams falls in love with Silk, even if he denies it first. He finds Silk's mother and wants to surprise Silk the next morning. That night, Silk asks him to excuse her for not attending a party because she is going to sleep. Abraham rushes to her house and where he finds her dead on her bed from a sleeping pill overdose.
