The Fiction We Live is the second album by the band From Autumn To Ashes and is significantly more melodic than its predecessor Too Bad You're Beautiful .

Emergence

It is the first release on the Vagrant Records label . The production took over Garth Richardson , who also produced albums for the band Red Hot Chili Peppers . Over 150,000 copies of the album were made for sale.

As with the first album, Melanie Wills has an appearance as a guest singer in the song Autumns Monologue . She does the singing for the entire piece.

It was the last album on which guitarists Scott Gross and Mike Pilato took part.
