The Killer Barbies are a punk band from Vigo in the northern Spanish province of Pontevedra .
Band history
The band was founded in 1994 and is based on well-known rock'n'roll and punk bands such as Kiss , the Misfits or the Ramones . As early as 1995 they contributed a song to the film Hackers - On the FBI's net .
The Killer Barbies are also known for appearing in B-Movies from the horror genre , most recently in Killer Barbys Vs. Dracula , in which Bela B. Felsenheimer of the Doctors plays the role of Count Dracula's great-grandson . He also sang the role of the comic devil on the cover version of the Iggy pop song Candy in 2002 . The song was on the album Sin Is In from the same year, which brought the band for the first time major success in Europe and a year later the DVD freak show followed.
The song Have Some Fun , which can be heard as background music in the PlayStation 2 game Rumble Roses , also comes from the album Sin Is In .
The racing game FlatOut features the song Baby With Two Heads and Down the Street by the Killer Barbies.
