The South African hired assassin Alex Laney is hired by the Cape Town resident attorney Robert Nile as his bodyguard. Nile is said to testify against the gangster Christo Nichol, who occasionally deals with voodoo practices. Years ago, by order of Nichols, Laney's parents were murdered, which he saw as a young boy.
Laney falls in love with Nile's daughter Erika. The woman is kidnapped on Nichols orders and freed by Laney. Laney, Erika and their father hide with Laneys foster parents.
Reviews
The lexicon of international films wrote that the film was an "ambitious thriller that undermined genre expectations" . He lacks a “comprehensible structure” and he appears “immature” “despite the above-average cast ” . "Atmospheric jumps and logical errors" would suggest "the impression of a hastily produced, poorly thought-out experiment" .
Cinema magazine scoffed that the film contained “a lot of hocus-pocus” .
