Stephen W. Parsons
Stephen W. "Steve" Parsons , also known under the stage name Mr. Snips (born June 19, 1951 in Great Britain ), is a British composer , singer and music producer .
Life
Under the name Snips, Steve Parsons was the singer in the British rock band Sharks , which existed from 1972 to 1974. He was then the singer of the Baker Gurvitz Army , with whom he recorded two albums in 1975 and 1976. As a solo artist, he released two albums, Video King (1979), the first production by Steve Lillywhite , and La Rocca! (1981), produced by Chris Spedding (who was guitarist for the Sharks) and with Midge Ure as accompanist.
Then Parsons worked as a composer for television series and feature films on both sides of the Atlantic. His music for over 300 commercials has won numerous awards.
In the 1990s Parsons and Spedding again recorded an album under the name Sharks. In 2011 they released the album Force 9 as King Mob .
