action
The astronomer Zane Zaminski is found dead. Zaminski has kept a detailed record of his discoveries about an alien invasion and has sent copies of these notes to three scientists, his stepbrother Jack, and a journalist.
But already at their first meeting it turns out that the aliens are informed about the existence of the group.
Jack and Bridget find out that the aliens want to use a nuclear power plant, which is about to open, as a weapon against humanity, and try to prevent that.
criticism
The lexicon of international films judges that The Second Arrival is a “ science fiction film that is underproduced in all respects ” and that the story is “ far from plausibility ”. The film magazine cinema made a similar statement . The “ boring free ride ” of the predecessor would have nothing to offer except a few car stunts.
