A construction company wants to build a new road through his property, but the old man refuses to sell land. In order to still be able to realize the project, the construction company sends the psychologist Dr. Valerie Crane. This should prepare an expert opinion, if possible so that he can be incapacitated. As a result, the property would go to the state and the construction company could buy it. But Noah defies all attempts and successfully defends himself against the forced sale with the support of his neighbor Sarah. In the end, Valerie Crane also realizes that she behaved unfairly towards the old man.
