The Sound Lovers is a Dance - Act , whose career started in Germany. After the first single " Run a Way " (1996), successes could be celebrated especially in Italy .
The group consisted of the singers Nathalie Aarts, David “German” Leguizamon and Kim Gallina, as well as the three well-known Italian producers Maurizio Molella (DJ Molella), Gianni Fontana and Roby Santini. While the group appeared outwardly as a vocal duo, the producers remained in the background. After German Leguizamon left, only Nathalie Aarts is the face of the group.

Singer Nathalie Aarts, (born November 6, 1969 in Breda , Netherlands ) first went to Italy to embark on a musical career there. Even before the musical activities with The Soundlovers, she had worked with various artists on various musical projects. She also studied at the School of Civic Jazz ( Enrico Intra and Franco Cerri ).
After the group met, the first single " Run A Way" was released in 1996 and entered the charts in Germany and Switzerland. The second single " People" also made it into the European charts in spring 1997. A little later the first album was released and was titled after the successful previous single “ People ”. The subsequent single " Surrender" also got off to a good start in European clubs and was number 1 on the Italian dance charts for 4 weeks. The single stayed in the top 10 of the general Italian sales charts for over 2 months.
The male vocal parts came mainly from German Le Guizamon (actually David Leguizamon, born December 15, 1970 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ), with Kim Gallina initially appearing, who was heard much less vocal, but did have vocal parts. Kim Gallina died in 1999 at the age of only 26. Since then Nathalie Aarts has performed as a singing duo with German Leguizamon.
At the beginning of 2001, " Walking" entered the Italian dance charts again. " Walking" was also the group's first single to be released in the United States .
" People 2002 " should be the next single from the Soundlovers. In fact, it's a track called " Flow " that was republished here. " We Wanna Party " was supposed to be the last single with the original voice of the German singer David Leguizamon, whose contract expired the following year. The next year, “ 96-03 ” was a best of album.
In 2004 the single " Shake Your Ass " was released in collaboration with Efisio Sergi. In the same year the Soundlovers released their third album " Club Stars 2004 ". In 2006 an adaptation of the first Best Of album was released with 96-06 (the 10th Anniversary) for the 10th anniversary of the group.
In 2007 a cover version of the 1980s hit " I'm Not Scared", written by the Pet Shop Boys , was released , with which the band Eighth Wonders could celebrate their greatest success in 1988. Also in 2007, on the other hand appeared from Alex C . and Y-ass a modified cover version of the song " Run a Way" with the German title " You have the most beautiful ass in the world" and reached first place in the single charts in November 2007 for one week in Germany and two weeks in Austria . On the other hand, the Soundlovers released a remix of their hit " Run a Way 2008" . Another single followed with " My Body my Soul" before the group went quiet.
In 2013 a remix of " Surrender" and " Run a Way" with the suffix 2k13 was released. The new title " Be My Man" was released as a single download that same year .
