The series consists of 13 episodes in one season, as the broadcasting station refrained from a sequel due to low ratings and took the series out of the program during its production. Although the series was canceled after only 6 episodes in the USA, all 13 episodes produced were broadcast in Australia on Nine Network and in the Netherlands on NET 5 . So far there has not been a broadcast synchronized in German.

Actors and characters

production

Although the series is based in Manhattan , New York City , the episodes were produced in Los Angeles . The main actress Kathryn Peale was initially intended to be Joely Richardson , who also appeared as such in the original pilot episode. After ordering the series, however, she left the series for family reasons, which is why the role was re-cast with Maura Tierney and all relevant scenes of the episode had to be re-shot.
