Eamonn Walker (born June 12, 1962 in London , England ) is a British actor .

Career

According to Walker's own account, he came to acting by watching the film In the Heat of the Night as a child and, inspired by Sidney Poitier's portrayal, was already considering becoming an actor.

He later became known through the television series Oz - Hell Behind Bars as the Muslim prisoner Kareem Said . He received a CableACE Award for his portrayal . He then had further success through supporting roles in films such as Unbreakable - Unzerbrechlich , Tears of the Sun and Lord of War - Dealer of Death . He also appeared on the television series Justice - Not Guilty and Emergency Room - The Emergency Room .

Walker has three children, a daughter and two sons, including twins.
