Thea Sofie Kleven (* December 22, 2000 - December 17, 2018 ) was a Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Thea Sofie Kleven started for the Gjerpenkollen Hoppklubb . It started for the first time at the international level as part of the Nordic Junior World Championships 2016 in Râșnov , where it finished 25th in the individual competition. In March 2016 she started in Harrachov for the first time in the FIS Cup . Her next competition participation on September 10, 2016 in Lillehammer was also her debut in the Continental Cup , in which she surprisingly won the COC competition.

At the Junior World Championships 2017 in Park City , Utah , Kleven reached 15th place in the individual competition. In the team competition, she reached fourth place together with Tonje Bakke , Silje Opseth and Anna Odine Strøm .

Kleven died on December 17, 2018, five days before her 18th birthday. Information on the circumstances of death was not disclosed.
