Then Jerico
Then Jerico is a British rock band .
successes
In the late 1980s the band had some success with two albums: First (The Sound Of Music) ( 1987 ) and The Big Area in 1989 .
The second album reached fourth place on the British album charts. Although the band has been referred to as a teenage band by parts of the British music press, Then Jerico produced two successful albums that critics credited with creativity in songwriting , instrumentation, arrangement and production . The two songs Big Area and Sugar Box (both on the album The Big Area ) are particularly well known . At the end of the nineties, the last studio album so far was released with the title Orgasmaphobia , which received little attention. There is also the live album Alive & Exposed, a best-of CD called Electric , which is a summary of the first two albums, as well as the solo CD Etc. Almost by singer Mark Shaw.
The song Big Area was played in the 1989 science fiction film Slipstream with Mark Hamill .
