Theo Reubel-Ciani

Theo Reubel-Ciani (born June 12, 1921 in Nuremberg ; † March 2, 2005 ) was a German editor and writer .

The son of the schoolteacher Günther Reubel did his military service in the Navy from 1940 , received the Iron Cross 1st Class in 1943 and was taken prisoner by the Americans . Back in Germany, he studied in Erlangen and Munich . In 1948 he became editor for the Nürnberger Zeitung 8-Uhr-Blatt in Sebaldus-Verlag (which later became the evening newspaper ). Later he was responsible for the television magazine Gong and became editor-in-chief of the youth magazine Neue Stafette, published by Sailer Verlag from 1961 . From 1979 he designed the magazine G - Geschichte mit Pfiff for the same publisher .

In addition to his journalistic activities, Reubel-Ciani also worked as a book author. Between 1949 and 1963 he wrote 41 volumes of the Inspector Collins crime series , which were published in various editions until the 1980s. In addition to other children's books of his own, he has also worked as a translator of English-language youth and non-fiction books. Among other things, he was responsible for the German text version of Classicomics from Schwager und Steinlein Verlag. As the biographer of the Schickedanz family, he has written two biographies and a documentary about the Quelle mail order company .

Theo Reubel-Ciani was a member of the poets' association of Pegnese Flower Orders .
