Theodor Austrian

Theodor Österreicher (born April 24, 1949 in Vienna ; † June 14, 2018 there ) was an Austrian lawyer and co-editor of the specialist journal Wohnrechtliche Blätter .

Life

He studied law at the University of Vienna from 1967 to 1974 and entered the municipal service of the City of Vienna in 1970 ( MA 50 ). Since 1983, Österreicher has been the association director of the Austrian Association of Non-Profit Building Associations - Auditing Association and has been involved in numerous parliamentary housing law negotiations (e.g. MRG , BTVG , WEG 1975 and 2002, Housing Promotion Act 1984, ordinances on the Charitable Housing Act ). As managing director of the employers' association of non-profit building associations, he was a member of the Federal Unification Office from 1989. Austrian was Chairman of ÖNORMEN -Ausschusses billing management costs of rental and condominium properties and thus instrumental in the development of ÖNORM A 4000 and Deputy Chairman of the Committee Minimum requirements for developers (ÖNORM B 2120).

Since 1990, Austrian has been a board member of the Association for the Promotion of Business Cooperative Research at the University of Vienna.

Austrian was married and the father of two children.
