Theodor Friedrich
Theodor Friedrich (born January 28, 1829 in Maxen , † August 28, 1891 in Dresden ; full name: Carl Gustav Theodor Friedrich ) was a German architect and municipal building officer .
Life
Theodor Friedrich was a city planner in Dresden in the last third of the 19th century . During this time the population of Dresden almost tripled. Friedrich's buildings were therefore primarily designed to secure the infrastructure: schools, hospitals and supply systems for gas and water were in the foreground. In Dresden he was a member of the Masonic lodge Zum golden Apfel .
Friedrich died in 1891, still in office. He was succeeded by Edmund Bräter .
In 1995, in connection with the development west of Salbachstraße in Dresden- Tolkewitz , a street called Theodor-Friedrich-Weg was named.

- 1880: Extension of the Maternihospital (destroyed in 1945)
- 1887–1891: Two gasometers in Reick (one of them today Panometer )
- 1888–1901: Löbtau Hospital
