Theodor Graetz
Theodor Grätz (born September 15, 1859 in Hamburg-Altona , † March 10, 1947 in Munich ) was a German painter and illustrator .
Grätz was a student at the Hamburg School of Applied Arts . He then studied from April 5, 1880 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Ludwig von Löfftz . After completing his studies, he settled in Munich and worked as an illustrator and caricaturist for the Munich-based “ Fliegende Blätter ”.
Grätz became a member of the Munich Secession and the Reich Association of German Artists . He took part in numerous exhibitions, including several times in the Munich Glass Palace , the Munich Secession and the Great Berlin Art Exhibition .
