Theophil Ernst Kriese
Theophil Ernst Kriese (born February 4, 1785 in Peisten near Preußisch Eylau , † September 4, 1848 in Dorpat ) was a German teacher .
Life
Born near Prussian Eylau, Theophil Kriese began at the age of 15 years in 1800 at the Koenigsberg Albertus University Law study. After completing his studies, he worked as a tutor in Lithuania from 1802 . Two years later he went to Livonia in the same position . In 1816 he went into business for himself and founded a private educational institution for girls in Fellin . As a boarding school , it was adapted to the increased requirements in 1821 and moved to Pernau . From 1823 to 1826 he published the "Pernausche Wochenblatt". In 1828 Kriese was appointed school inspector and appointed as a scientific teacher at the district school in Walk . In 1830 he was transferred as such to the high school in Fellin.
