Thiemo Strutzenberger (* 1982 in Kirchdorf an der Krems , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian actor and playwright .

Thiemo Strutzenberger received his training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and studied with Klaus Maria Brandauer , Susanne Valerie Granzer and René Pollesch , among others . He graduated from the University of Vienna with a master's degree in gender studies. The drama scholarship from the BMUKK and a drama scholarship from the Literar-Mechana promoted his work as a playwright. He was also a participant in the ForumText author project of the DramaForum of the uniT Graz, with the mentorship of the author Peter Waterhouse . He took part in the Wiener Schauspielhaus's author support program “Stück / für /stück”, and received the audience award for his play “Dogs of God”. In 2010 his play "The Maid Suicides" was premiered. World premieres of his pieces “Queen Recluse” (2013, director: Martin Schmiederer) and “Dogs of God” (2014, director: Barbara Weber) at the Schauspielhaus Wien.
