Thiocarbonohydrazide is a chemical compound from the group of hydrazides and thionamides .
Extraction and presentation
Thiocarbonohydrazide can be obtained by reacting hydrazine hydrate with carbon disulfide and 2-chloroethanol as a catalyst. After the reaction has ended, the products are heated to remove hydrogen sulfide.
use
Thiocarbonohydrazide is used for the synthesis of metribuzin and for the staining of carbohydrates in electron microscopy .
