Tholen is a peninsula in the province of Zeeland in the southwest of the Netherlands . Together with the Sint Philipsland peninsula, it forms an island and the municipality of Tholen .
It is surrounded by the following waters:
- The Krabbenkreek between Tholen and Sint Philipsland
- The Maasgat and the Keeten between Tholen and Schouwen-Duiveland
- The Oosterschelde
- The Scheldt-Rhine Canal and the Zoommeer on the border between Zeeland and North Brabant
