The peninsula Zuid-Beveland is located in the Dutch province of Zeeland between the Oosterschelde and the Veerse Meer in the north and the Westerschelde in the south. The Walcheren peninsula can be reached in the west via the Sloedamm and polded areas on both sides .

The village of Yerseke on the Oosterschelde is the center of Dutch oyster farming . The Borssele nuclear power plant is in operation on the banks of the Westerschelde .

Zeeuwselijn railway line through Zuid-Beveland

The A58 expressway and Zeeland's only railway line, the so-called Zeeuwse Lijn , connect Goes with Bergen op Zoom on the mainland and Middelburg and Vlissingen on Walcheren.

The A256 / N256 connects Goes with the northern island of Noord-Beveland .

At the eastern beginning of the peninsula, the Scheldt-Rhine Canal crosses the peninsula. Further to the west, the canal connects the Ooster- and Westerschelde through Zuid-Beveland .
