Thomas Kellermann

Thomas Kellermann (born November 13, 1970 in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria ) is a German chef .

Career

Kellermann comes from a family of restaurateurs. After training in Munich, he went to the Hotel-Restaurant Erbprinz in Ettlingen in 1991 and to the Wald- und Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe in Zweiflingen under Lothar Eiermann in 1992 . In 1994 he moved to Munich for six years at the Tantris restaurant under Hans Haas . He took up his first position as head chef in 2000 at Landhaus Noess in Sylt , followed by two Berlin restaurants: Portalis in 2001 and Vitrum in 2003 . Here he is awarded a Michelin star .

From 2008 to 2018 he was head chef of the Kastell restaurant in the Hotel Burg Wernberg in Wernberg-Köblitz . He cooked a classic cuisine with a slight emphasis on vegetables and also offered a vegetarian menu. In 2011 he was awarded the second Michelin star.

Since June 2018 Kellermann has been kitchen director at the Relais & Châteaux Park Hotel Egerner Höfe and at the Dichterstub'n restaurant in Rottach-Egern , which, as before, was awarded a Michelin star.

  • 2020: Three chef's hats and 17 points in Gault Millau
