Thomas Schererbauer
Thomas Schererbauer (born December 23, 1972 in Schärding ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and insurance salesman . Schererbauer has been a delegated member of the Austrian Federal Council from the state of Upper Austria since 2015 .
education and profession
Thomas Schererbauer grew up in the community of Esternberg in the Upper Austrian district of Schärding , where he attended elementary school from 1979 to 1983 and secondary school from 1983 to 1987. From 1987 to 1988 he was briefly at the upper secondary school in Linz before he switched to the higher education institute for tourism in Bad Ischl . Thomas Schererbauer has been working as an insurance salesman at Allianz Insurance since June 1, 1992 , where he is the central works council. In 2001 he also began training as an insurance broker. Schererbauer now has the professional title of District Director .
Political career
In 1997 Thomas Schererbauer was elected to the local council in his home parish of Esternberg for the first time . Since 2009 he has been a member of the Esternberg parish council . After the state elections in Upper Austria in 2015 , in which the FPÖ recorded strong gains, Schererbauer was sent to the Federal Council in Vienna on October 23, 2015 by the Upper Austrian state parliament .
