The Thomson Glacier is a 13 km long glacier on the Bryan coast of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It flows between the Rydberg and Wirth peninsula to Fladerer Bay .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2003 after Janet Wendy Thomson (* 1942) from the British Antarctic Survey , head of the US-British project for the creation of glaciological maps and those for coastal changes on the Antarctic Peninsula from the 1980s to 2002.
