Thorben Stahmer (born September 20, 1989 in Hamburg ) is a German volleyball player .
Career
Stahmer began his career in 2005 at Oststeinbeker SV , where he was active in the regional league. Due to an injury to his shoulder, he played football in the county league in 2010 . At TSV Reinbek he returned to volleyball. He then played for two years at 1. VC Norderstedt . In the 2013/14 season, the Libero made it to the Bundesliga with SVG Lüneburg . Since he was not considered for the first division team, he returned to Oststeinbek and played in the third division. In 2017 Stahmer moved to the second division TG 1862 Rüsselsheim . In February 2018 he made his Bundesliga debut at United Volleys Frankfurt against his former club Lüneburg . In the 2018/19 season he was in action with both teams.
