Thore Perske (born July 25, 1999 in Bingen am Rhein ) is a German chess player .

Life

Thore Perske was a student at the Sebastian-Münster-Gymnasium in Ingelheim am Rhein .

successes

Thore Perske's chess career began at the age of eight with Schachfreunde Heidesheim.

He celebrated his first national successes in 2012 when he won the Rhineland-Palatinate Championship in the U12 age group, and in 2014 when he won the German U14 Championship.

As part of the German team, he won the European Youth Team Championship hosted by the ECU in 2015 . In 2017, the success at the European Youth Championships in Rymanów- Zdroj ( Poland ) was repeated with another victory.

Perske has held the title of International Master (IM) since 2017 , and he fulfilled the required standards at the Open International Bavarian Championship 2014 in Bad Wiessee , at the Neckar Open 2015 in Deizisau and at the Böblinger Open 2016.

As a club player, Thore Perske was active for SV 1920 Hofheim until 2019, including in the 1st Bundesliga from 2017 to 2019 . In the 2019/20 season he will play for the Schachfreunde Berlin . Perske has been playing for Schachfreunde Wirtzfeld in Belgium since 2018 .
