Thorildsplan is an above-ground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Kristineberg district . The station is served by the Gröna linjen of the Stockholm subway system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the subway network. On a normal working day, 10,600 commuters get on here.
The station went into operation on October 26, 1952 when the Hötorget - Vällingby metro section was inaugurated. The platforms are above ground, access is via a tunnel below Drottningholmsvägen to Thorildsplan. The station is located between the Fridhemsplan and Kristineberg stations . It is around 2.5 km to Stockholm Central Station .
