Thorsten Judt (born June 30, 1971 in Niederdreisbach / Westerwald ) is a former German soccer player .
Player career
Judt began his footballing career with Sportfreunde Daaden , via TuS Friedewald and SG 06 Betzdorf he came to Bayer 04 Leverkusen , where he played until 1994. Further positions were from 1994 to 1998 at Fortuna Düsseldorf , with whom he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 1995 and relegated to the Second Bundesliga in 1997 , and from 1998 to 2003 with the then second division Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . In 2003 he moved to the then regional league team Kickers Offenbach , with whom he was promoted to the second division in 2005, where he played for 3 years until he was relegated in 2008. At Kickers Offenbach he was the most successful preparer for five years. For the 2008/09 season he moved to third division club FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . Thorsten Judt also sat for a time as a representative of the 2nd Bundesliga on the players' council of the Association of Contract Soccer Players (VdV).
Judt played a total of 43 games in the Bundesliga and scored three goals. In the 2nd Bundesliga there were 251 games and 18 hits. There were also 81 appearances in the regional league and third league with eight goals. In 1993 Judt took part in the military world championship in Morocco with the Bundeswehr national team and took third place.
Thorsten Judt initially ended his career in summer 2009, but then started a comeback in November 2009 at the Meerbusch regional division TuS Bösinghoven , where he finally ended his playing career in summer 2010.
Coaching career
Thorsten Judt worked from July 2010 to July 2013 as assistant coach of the U17s at Hamburger SV (B-Jugend-Bundesliga North / Northeast). He has the Trainer A license. From July 2013 he was the head coach of the HSV U17s. His contract ran until 2015.
Trivia
Judt took part in the TV Total Poker Night on March 17, 2009 as an online qualifier , where he finished sixth out of six participants.
