Thorsten Reiss (born  August 11, 1984 in Mannheim ) is a German soccer player .

Career

In his youth, Reiß played at TSV Neckarau , TSV 1846 Mannheim and FSV Oggersheim . After playing for SG Sonnenhof Großaspach for two years , he returned to Oggersheim in the summer of 2005 and was promoted to the Regionalliga Süd with the club in the 2006/07 season . For the 2008/09 season, Reiss moved to the Stuttgarter Kickers . He made his professional debut in the 3rd division on July 26th, 2008 in the 2-0 defeat of the Kickers at SV Wacker Burghausen .

After relegation with the Stuttgarter Kickers in the Regionalliga Süd, he moved to the Regionalliga West for the Saarland representative SV Elversberg for the 2009/10 season . With the sports association, he managed as runner-up in the Regionalliga Südwest 2012/13 via relegation to the third division . There, his contract was terminated in January 2014.

From then on he moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern II .
