Thorsten Wittek (born December 31, 1976 in Berlin ) is a German football player .

Career

The 1.78 m tall midfielder began his career with the Berlin clubs Hertha Zehlendorf and Tennis Borussia and moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen in 1994 , where he mainly played in the regional league team. In October 2001 he played in the Bundesliga when his team played against VfB Stuttgart. He later moved to the Saarland for SV Elversberg in the Regionalliga Süd , where he was under contract for four years. From 2006 to 2009 Thorsten Wittek played for the regional division Eintracht Trier and won the Rhineland Cup three times during this time . After his contract was not renewed in the summer of 2009, it took until January 2010 before he found a new club with the first division club CS Grevenmacher . After only half a year on the Moselle , he moved on to Luxembourg second division team Victoria Rosport during the summer break , where he was one of two players who played all games in the first season.
