Thorsten Wolf

Thorsten Wolf (born February 2, 1965 in Leipzig ) is a German actor , cabaret artist and theater director .

Life

Born and raised in Leipzig, he learned the profession of plumber in what was then BMK Süd ( construction and assembly combine ) after completing school . In 1984 he joined the amateur cabaret "Baufunzel", which existed there and which had emerged from the "paper clips". Thorsten Wolf quickly became the leading head and organizer of the cabaret.

From 1987 the cabaret also appeared publicly in Leipzig. The first venues were the “Nelke” club and the “Clubhouse of Friendship”.

In 1990 the ensemble became freelance and renamed itself " Cabaret Leipziger Funzel ". Thorsten Wolf became Germany's youngest theater director and continued to work as a cabaret artist. In 1997 the “Leipziger Funzel” moved into its domicile in Leipzig's city center - the “Strohsackpassage” in Nikolaistraße.

Since 1993 Wolf can also be seen as an actor in various film and television productions.

Thorsten Wolf is married to his wife Elvira and lives in Leipzig.
