Three Kisses ( Series title in the US: Topper Special Series: Three Kisses ) is an American short film from 1955 directed by Justin B. Herman . The film received an Oscar nomination .

content

The film shows the then legendary Cork Hurling Team of the 1950s in various situations. Important sequences of the film were made in Thurles in the Republic of Ireland .

Production notes

The film is part of the Topper Special series from Paramount Pictures . In a later report on the rediscovered hurling films from the 1955s, it is said that they had "important historical value and represented some of the few examples of moving images of Gaelic games from this period".

Award

1956 was Justin B. Herman with he produced film in the category "Best Short Film" (a roll of film) for the Oscar nominated, but could not free himself from Edmund Reek and his film Survival City prevail.
