The Tideweser before Berne and Lemwerder is a landscape protection area in the Lower Saxony municipalities of Berne and Lemwerder in the Wesermarsch district .

The protected landscape area is approximately 66  hectares . It lies entirely in the FFH area "tributaries of the Weser with Strohauser Plate and Juliusplate ". The area has been under landscape protection since December 22, 2018. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Wesermarsch district.

The landscape protection area only includes water bodies in a section of the Weser , which has been heavily modified by hydraulic engineering measures, between Lemwerder and the Bern district of Warfleth (approximately Weser-km 17 to Weser-km 23). The Weser is a habitat and a. the feint and walking corridor for river and sea ​​lamprey . It is also a feeding habitat for the pond bat .
