Ties van Soest (born May 13, 2000 in Son en Breugel ) is a Dutch ice hockey player who has spent his entire career so far with the Düsseldorfer EG , for which he currently plays in the German junior league.

Career

Club

Ties van Soest, who comes from Son en Breugel in the Dutch province of North Brabant , began his career with Düsseldorfer EG , for which he still plays today. Initially, he was used in the school league, but at the age of 15 he played his first games in the German youth league . Since 2016 he has been used exclusively in this highest German junior division.

International

For the Netherlands, van Soest took part in the Division II games of the U18 World Junior Championships in 2016 and 2018 , where he was the captain of the Dutch team in 2018, as well as the U20 World Championships in Division II in 2017 and 2018 .

At the age of 17 he made his debut at the World Cup of Division II 2018 for the men's national team and rose with the team unbeaten in Division I. He scored the first two goals in a 5-0 win against Serbia .
