Tigran Martirosyan Geworgi ( Armenian Տիգրան Գեւորգ Մարտիրոսյան * 9. June 1988 in Gyumri ) is an Armenian weightlifter .

Career

At the 2009 World Championships he won the silver medal in the 77 kg category with a total performance of 370 kg. He also won the silver medal at the 2007 European Championships in the category up to 69 kg with a total performance of 331 kg and the gold medal at the 2008 European Championships in the category up to 69 kg with a total performance of 346 kg.

On August 31, 2016, he was due to a positive doping retests the bronze medal from the 2008 Summer Olympics subsequently revoked .
