Tiguidit is a stepped terrain on the southern edge of the Aïr Mountains in Niger . Alternative spellings are Tegidit , Teguidit , Tigidit , Tiguedi and Tiguidi .

In the Tuareg language , the name is also used figuratively for "south" as a direction and location. The terrain level begins southeast of the Ingall oasis and runs in a sickle shape over a length of over 200 kilometers to the west.
