Til Death Do Us Apart is the debut album by the Swedish melodic death metal band Degradead , released by Dockyard 1 in 2008 .
Emergence
The production was carried out in the In Flames studio in Gothenburg in autumn 2007. The producer of the album was Björn Gelotte , the co-producers were Jesper Strömblad and Daniel Svensson . Strömblad, who had heard the demo CD Death Row , immediately offered to co-produce the band. He said of the album that it was the "most important" album release in 2008.
reception
On the website Powermetal.de , Martin van der Laan criticized that the band “couldn't keep up the very high level of the beginning” during the course of the record. Nevertheless, one could “all in all speak of a successful debut”. Deagradead is best when they play Thrash . Rock Hard magazine awarded seven out of ten points. Andreas Stappert called the album "a fine bastard from the no-frills old school of the Dimension Zero brand and especially in the refrains of translucent modernity in Soilwork style ".
