Dockyard 1
Dockyard 1 was a German music label from 2005 to 2009 . The company, based in Hamburg , focuses on hard rock and metal . Managing director is among others Piet Sielck , who was involved in the first origins of the band Helloween (at that time still under the name Gentry) and since then has become a well-known producer in the metal scene ( Blind Guardian , Persuader , Paragon etc.) and musician ( Iron Savior , Savage Circus ). Other co-founders of the company are Christine Stephan and Dirk Putzke, two former employees of the Noise successor label Sanctuary Records .
