Tilman Remme

Tilman Remme (* 1961 in West Berlin ) is a German historian , journalist and documentary filmmaker .

Remme attended the bilingual John F. Kennedy School in Berlin-Zehlendorf until 1979 . Then he began studying history at the Free University of Berlin . He was sponsored by the British Council in the 1980s and received his Ph.D. in 1990 from Alan Sked at the London School of Economics and Political Science. in International History (Thesis: Britain and Regional Cooperation in South-East Asia, 1945–49 ). He first worked as a journalist at the international radio stations BBC World Service and for the documentary series Panorama and television information program Newsnight , both produced by the BBC, before moving into documentary or history department of the BBC moved Television and there the on BBC Two current Time Watch -Format crafted.
