Tilmann Lahme

Tilmann Lahme (* 1974 in Erlangen ) is a German author and literary historian.

Lahme studied German , history and philosophy in Kiel and Bern. After the first state examination in 2001, he wrote a dissertation on Golo Mann , with which he was awarded a Dr. phil. received his doctorate. In 2010 he passed his second state examination.

After various journalistic articles for newspapers and radio (Radio Nora, NDR, Deutschlandradio Kultur), Lahme worked for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung from 2005, from 2006 to 2008 as an editor in the features section .

From 2010 to 2014 Lahme was a grammar school teacher for German and history in Göttingen . In 2010/11 he was visiting professor for literary criticism at the University of Göttingen . Lahme has been managing the professorship for media history and critical journalism at the Leuphana in Lüneburg since 2014 .

Lahme is the author of numerous publications on the Mann family .
