Tilo Werner (* 1962 in Demmin , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ) is a German theater actor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Tilo Werner initially trained as an electrician in Neubrandenburg . However , he did not take up an initially planned degree in the field of power distribution / power plant construction in Zittau and instead worked as an electrician in Berlin .

After studying acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin (HFS; graduation 1985), he had various theater engagements, at the beginning of his career a. a. am asked Berlin .

In November 2004 he played for the Pocket Opera Company in Nuremberg in the music theater piece The Year of Volunteers - Standvogel - A timpani . In 2009 he played the mouse brother Willi in the fairy tale Anton, the mouse musical by Gertrud Pigor, at the Landesbühne Hannover . He had other engagements at the Neuen Schauspiel Erfurt (2005; as Don Pedro / Schlehwein in Much Ado About Nothing ) and at the Theater für Niedersachsen (TfN) in Hildesheim .

Werner has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater Görlitz-Zittau (GHT) since the 2014/15 season . There he played u. a. the Roberto Miranda in The Death and the Maiden by Ariel Dorfman (season 2014/15) and the rollers pilot, King, drunkards and geographer in The Little Prince (season 2014/15). At GHT he will take over in the 2015/16 season a. a. the title role in Nathan the Wise , Karl in The Homeless Moon by Christoph Klimke (premiere: February 2016) and the Rübezahl in Der Berggeist .

Werner's hobbies include literature and philosophy . Before his engagement in Görlitz, Werner lived in Koblenz , where he also appeared in a tabloid comedy.
