Christoph Klimke
Christoph Klimke (born November 22, 1959 in Oberhausen ) is a German writer .
Life
Christoph Klimke grew up in Kleve . From 1980 to 1982 he studied German and Italian in Bonn and Florence . Since 1984 he has lived as a freelance writer in Berlin . He is the author of stories , essays , poems , plays and libretti ; he also translates from Italian . Klimke is a member of the Association of German Writers . He received u. a. In 1990 the advancement award for literature of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and a working grant from the Berlin Senate and in 1995 an Alfred Döblin grant and the Ernst Barlach award for literature . His collection of poems Bernsteinherz is the 602nd and last title of the small bibliophile Düsseldorf publisher Eremiten-Presse , founded in 1949 , which ceased its publishing activities in 2010 due to financial difficulties. In 2016 he became the 44th town clerk in Rheinsberg . In the Deutsches Theater Göttingen became his musical "America First" premiered in December 2017th
