Tim Coly (born July 5, 1979 ) is a former German national rugby union player .

Life

Tim Coly started rugby at RG Heidelberg in 1984 . He stayed with the club for twenty years until 2004 and played several seasons in the rugby Bundesliga . In 2004 he won the DRV Cup with the RGH . As a result, he moved to France to the Rugby Club Strasbourg , where he played four seasons until 2008. In 2008 he returned to Heidelberg to the RGH. Tim Coly studied teaching and completed his preparatory service at the Konrad-Adenauer-Realschule in Pforzheim in 2010 . In 2012, Coly took a break from the Bundesliga game operations due to parental leave . In the 2013-14 season Coly resigned from his playing career.

In the national team Coly made his debut on November 6, 2006 against Moldova in Chisinau . Germany lost 26:24. In total, Tim Coly appeared for Germany nineteen times. He played his last game on March 10, 2012 in the 20:17 win against the Czech Republic in Prague , before ending his national team career due to his parental leave.
