Tim Grimm (born September 27, 1960 in Columbus , Ohio ) is an American actor and folk singer .

Life

He was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1960 and grew up in southern Indiana. As an actor he was in the films and series, Das Kartell (1994), Hör mal, wer da hammert (1996), Insider (1999), JAG - On behalf of honor (1995-1997) and The Mercury Puzzle (1998) known in Germany.

Grimm is a graduate of Earlham College with a Masters degree in Political Science. He was nominated for the 2000 Joseph Jefferson Award (Chicago Theater Scene) for acting in a role in the performance of "Bluff" at the Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago, Illinois. With the song King of the Folksingers from the album The Turning Point, which he dedicated to Ramblin 'Jack Eliott, he landed a No. 1 hit in the US.

He is married to the musician Jan Lucas and has two sons (Connor and Jackson) who are also musically active.
