The Larry Sanders Show is an American sitcom that aired on HBO from 1992 to 1998 with 90 episodes in six seasons .

The series takes place behind and in front of the scenes of the fictional late night show The Larry Sanders Show . It shows the everyday life of Larry, the presenter, Arthur, called Artie, the producer, and Hank Kingsley, Larry's sidekick, with all the interpersonal problems that arise between them and the employees as well as the guests. Both work and private life are shown. In addition to several secondary characters, there are also real celebrities such as Robin Williams , Alec Baldwin , Jerry Seinfeld and Elvis Costello , who each play themselves.
